    Bei einer friedlichen Demonstration kommt es zur Eskalation. Zwei Buben, deren Mütter gegnerischen politischen Lagern angehören, werden dabei angeschossen. Mit lebensbedrohlichen Verletzungen werden sie ins St. Bonaventure gebracht. Während der Operationen kommt es sogar unter den Ärzten zu politischen Streitereien. Zu alledem drohen die nötigen Blutkonserven auszugehen.
